Terms of use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
By using this website or joining Platinum NI, you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, so please do.
1. About us
Platinum NI is a free household bills comparison and member benefits service for Northern Ireland. Contact: hello@platinumni.co.uk.
2. Comparisons are a guide
- We check prices by hand and show the date each price was checked. Prices can change at any time, especially heating oil.
- Costs and savings shown are estimates based on the details you enter (or a rough guide if you don't). Your real cost depends on your usage and the supplier's terms.
- We don't show every deal on the market, only the ones we've checked.
- We aren't the supplier. Always check the final price, terms and whether you're eligible with the supplier before you switch or buy. Your contract is with them, not us.
- Broadband availability depends on your exact address; the provider will confirm it.
3. How we make money
Using Platinum NI is free. Some suppliers and businesses pay us a commission when you take up an offer through our links. This never costs you extra and never changes the order of comparison results, which are ranked by estimated cost. More about how we make money.
4. Membership
- Membership is free and for adults (18 and over) living in, or with a home in, Northern Ireland.
- One account per person. Please give accurate details and keep your password private.
- Your membership card is personal to you and mustn't be shared.
- You can close your account at any time from your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that are misused, for example sharing cards or abusing offers.
5. Platinum NI Exclusives
- Exclusives are offers provided by the partner business named on the offer, for members only, on the terms and dates shown.
- The partner business is responsible for providing the offer. If there's a problem, contact them first, and tell us too so we can help.
- Offers may end early or change if the partner withdraws them.
6. Group buying
If we run a group buying campaign, taking part is optional. We'll show you the offer before you decide, and we can't promise any particular saving.
7. Using the website
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break in, overload it, copy it in bulk or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep information accurate, but we can't guarantee every price or detail is correct or up to date, and we aren't responsible for suppliers' or partners' products or services. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law, or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and its courts can deal with any dispute.
